...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT NORTHEASTERN CHEMUNG...CENTRAL
TIOGA AND SOUTHERN TOMPKINS COUNTIES THROUGH 815 PM EDT...

At 743 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Van Etten, or 13 miles southeast of Odessa, moving east at 45 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Owego, Danby, Caroline, Candor, Spencer, Van Etten, South Danby,
Willseyville, West Danby, and North Spencer.
