DISCUSSION: Rain, snow, and gusty southwest wind today as another strong
storm from the Gulf of Alaska moves inland.  Cold front this evening with
a short period of heavy snow and possibly a thunderstorm, then snow level
lowering to valley floors.  8 to 10 inches new snow through tonight,
heaviest this afternoon and early evening.  Windy and cold Thursday with
snow showers continuing and adding another two inches accumulation.
Drying and quite cold Thursday night, then gradually warmer through Sunday
and still dry,  Light rain and snow Monday and Tuesday as a weaker Pacific
storm comes inland.
