...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 1215 AM CDT
FOR POWESHIEK AND SOUTHEASTERN TAMA COUNTIES...

At 1154 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Brooklyn, or
12 miles north of Montezuma, moving east at 35 mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to
         roofs, siding, and trees.

Locations impacted include...
Grinnell, Montezuma, Brooklyn, Victor, Holiday Lake, Malcom, Deep
River, Hartwick, Guernsey, and Grinnell Regional Airport.

This includes Interstate 80 between mile markers 182 and 204.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.

Torrential rainfall is occurring with this storm, and may lead to
flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
