...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 445 PM CDT
FOR NORTHEASTERN BLACK HAWK COUNTY...

At 430 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Evansdale, or
near Waterloo, moving east at 35 mph.

HAZARD...Two inch hail and 60 mph wind gusts.

SOURCE...Trained weather spotters.

IMPACT...People and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect hail
         damage to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles. Expect wind
         damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

Locations impacted include...
Waterloo, Evansdale, Jesup, Elk Run Heights, Crossroads Mall,
Washburn, Dunkerton, Raymond, and Gilbertville.

This includes Interstate 380 between mile markers 61 and 73.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 1000 PM CDT for northeastern
Iowa.
