...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 1230 AM EDT
FOR EASTERN SAGINAW AND SHIAWASSEE COUNTIES...

At 1208 AM EDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from Frankenmuth to Gaines to near Perry, moving east at 45
mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to
         roofs, siding, and trees.

These severe storms will be near...
  Perry, Morrice, Byron, and Bancroft around 1215 AM EDT.

Other locations impacted by these severe thunderstorms include
Carrollton, Arthur, Burt, Buena Vista Township, Gera, Layton Corners,
Indiantown, Vernon, Juddville, and Shiawassee National Wildlife
Refuge.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 400 AM EDT for southeastern
Michigan.

Remain alert for a possible tornado! Tornadoes can develop quickly
from severe thunderstorms. If you spot a tornado go at once into the
basement or small central room in a sturdy structure.

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.
