...A TORNADO WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 230 AM EDT FOR CENTRAL
WAYNE COUNTY...

At 201 AM EDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado
was located near Canton, moving east at 60 mph.

HAZARD...Tornado.

SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.

IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without
         shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage
         to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur.  Tree damage is
         likely.

This dangerous storm will be near...
  Livonia, Taylor, Romulus, Dearborn, and Greenfield Village around
  205 AM EDT.
  Downtown Detroit and Wyandotte around 210 AM EDT.
  Belle Isle around 215 AM EDT.

Other locations impacted by this tornadic thunderstorm include
Inkster, Melvindale, Garden City, Wayne, Westland, Ecorse, Southwest
Detroit, Allen Park, Dearborn Heights, and River Rouge.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

floor of a sturdy building. Avoid windows. If you are outdoors, in a
