FOR NORTHWESTERN JONES...SOUTHEASTERN DELAWARE AND NORTHEASTERN LINN
COUNTIES...

At 627 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Worthington, or
17 miles southeast of Manchester, moving east at 45 mph.

HAZARD...Quarter size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Damage to vehicles is expected.

Locations impacted include...
Dyersville, Monticello, Central City, Earlville, Hopkinton, Delhi,
Prairieburg, Delaware, Jones County Fairgrounds, Howard H Cherry
Scout Reservation, Linn  County Fairgrounds, Buck Creek, Baileys Ford
Park, Turtle Creek Park, and Pinicon Ridge Park.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 900 PM CDT for northeastern
and east central Iowa.

Prepare immediately for large hail and deadly cloud to ground
lightning. Seek shelter inside a well-built structure. Stay away from
windows.

Torrential rainfall is occurring with this storm, and may lead to
flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
