...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 530 PM CDT
FOR SOUTHWESTERN LAFAYETTE...SOUTHEASTERN JACKSON AND NORTHWESTERN
JOHNSON COUNTIES...

At 510 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Lone Jack, or
10 miles southeast of Lake Lotawana, moving northeast at 55 mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to
         roofs, siding, and trees.

Locations impacted include...
Odessa, Lone Jack, Lake Lafayette, Bates City, and Pittsville.

This includes Interstate 70 in Missouri between mile markers 32 and
47.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 900 PM CDT for west central
Missouri.
