...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 545 PM CDT
FOR SOUTHEASTERN CLAY AND NORTHERN JACKSON COUNTIES...

At 519 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Courtney,
moving northeast at 35 mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to
         roofs, siding, and trees.

Locations impacted include...
Kansas City, Independence, Lee's Summit, Blue Springs, Raytown,
Liberty, Prairie Village, North Kansas City, Mission Hills, Sugar
Creek, Buckner, Westwood, Claycomo, Courtney, Lake Tapawingo,
Westwood Hills, Sibley, Missouri City, Mission Woods, and Levasy.

This includes the following highways...
 Interstate 70 in Missouri between mile markers 1 and 20.
 Interstate 35 in Missouri between mile markers 0 and 5.
 Interstate 35 in Kansas near mile marker 235.
 Interstate 470 between mile markers 15 and 16.
 Interstate 435 between mile markers 54 and 67.
