A warmer and drier day is expected Wednesday, with minimum RH values around 40 percent east of Detroit Lakes where the prescribed burn is planned. Wind direction should remain around 10 mph from the south to southwest, with periodic gusts around 15 mph Wednesday afternoon. Winds should be lighter (around 5 mph) Wednesday night shifting to the southeast. Temperatures should be even warmer on Thursday, with a better chance for RH values below 40%. Southeast winds are also expected to be higher, increasing to the 10-15 mph range from the south, with a chance for gusts around 30 mph.
