...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 545 PM CDT
FOR NORTHERN COWLEY AND SOUTHERN BUTLER COUNTIES...

At 514 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Atlanta, or 13
miles southeast of Douglass, moving east at 65 mph.

HAZARD...70 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect considerable
         tree damage. Wind damage is also likely to mobile homes,
         roofs, and outbuildings.

Locations impacted include...
Winfield, Douglass, Udall, Leon, Burden, Atlanta, Latham, Rock,
Cambridge, Winfield City Lake, and Beaumont.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 900 PM CDT for south central
Kansas.
