...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 645 AM CDT THIS MORNING...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...A portion of northeast Illinois, including the following
  county, Lake IL.

* WHEN...Until 645 AM CDT.

* IMPACTS...Creeks and streams may rise out of their banks.
  Underpasses may be flooded.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 349 AM CDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges
    indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Up to 1 inch of
    rain has fallen with an additional half to one inch of rain
    possible. This is on top of 1 to 2 inches of rain that fell
    last evening.
  - Several area creeks are rising towards bankfull or minor
    flood stage.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Waukegan, North Chicago, Gurnee, Round Lake Beach, Zion,
    Grayslake, Round Lake, Antioch, Lake Villa, Lindenhurst,
    Beach Park, Gages Lake, Park City, Round Lake Park, Winthrop
    Harbor, Grandwood Park, Wadsworth, Long Lake, Venetian
    Village and Third Lake.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Flood Advisory means minor flooding along waterways and other poor
drainage areas is imminent or may already be occurring. Persons in
the advisory area should use caution and avoid flood waters.
