...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 1030 PM CDT
FOR CENTRAL KANE COUNTY...

At 1017 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from near South Elgin to near Maple Park, moving east at 40
mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and penny size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

Locations impacted include...
  Elgin, Bartlett, St. Charles, Campton Hills, South Elgin, West
  Dundee, East Dundee, Wayne, Valley View and Lily Lake.

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until midnight CDT for northeastern
Illinois.
