...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 1115 PM CDT
FOR NORTHEASTERN DUPAGE AND NORTHEASTERN COOK COUNTIES...

At 1044 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from near Prospect Heights to Elmhurst, moving east at 45
mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and half dollar size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to
         roofs, siding, and trees.

Locations impacted include...
  Chicago, Evanston, Skokie, Des Plaines, Oak Park, Glenview, Park
  Ridge, Niles, Irving Park, Austin, West Ridge, West Town, Lake
  View, Logan Square, Humboldt Park, Rogers Park, Edgewater, Uptown,
  Lincoln Park and Near North Side.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until midnight CDT for northeastern
Illinois.

Prepare immediately for large hail and damaging winds. People outside
should move to a shelter, inside a strong building and away from
windows.
