South-southwest winds around 20 mph are currently being recorded near the burn site via WTM observations. While temperatures in the mid 70s and dewpoints in the mid 50s prevail. Temperatures will continue to climb through the rest of the day, into the mid 80s, while dewpoints drop into the upper 30s with an eastward moving dryline. As a result, we will see minimum RH values dip into the mid teens by Tuesday afternoon while we see a steady uptick in south-southwest winds to around 25 to 30 mph with gusts up to 40 mph. No precipitation is expected this afternoon and evening, with the bulk of thunderstorm activity remaining east of the burn site. Winds will begin to decrease after dark, remaining out of the southwest with speeds generally less than 15 mph with overnight recoveries around 60 percent. .REST OF TODAY...
