Here is a look at the weather features that will affect the region
over the next several days.

Well above normal to near record warmth is expected through
Saturday thanks to high pressure off the southeastern U.S. coast.
Any showers and thunderstorms will likely remain sparse through
Saturday, although an upper level disturbance will bring a
slightly greater chance on Friday. A cold front arriving Saturday
night into Sunday could bring the next opportunity for greater
rain coverage, along with a sharp cool down for early next week.
This comes with gusty northwesterly winds on Monday which is
followed by the potential of frost and freeze conditions on Monday
night. Temperatures eventually moderate through the week.
