...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 500 PM CDT
FOR NORTHEASTERN IOWA AND NORTHWESTERN DANE COUNTIES...

At 425 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Mount Horeb,
moving northeast at 35 mph.

HAZARD...Ping pong ball size hail and 60 mph wind gusts.

SOURCE...Trained weather spotters 2 mi west of Barneveld reports 1.5
         inch hail.

IMPACT...People and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect hail
         damage to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles. Expect wind
         damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

Locations impacted include...
Madison, Middleton, Mount Horeb, Cross Plains, Mazomanie, Shorewood
Hills, Black Earth, Barneveld, Blue Mounds, Arena, Pine Bluff, Blue
Mound St Park, and Marxville.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 1000 PM CDT for south central
Wisconsin.
