...SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 7 PM EDT FOR
EAST CENTRAL MERCER AND SOUTHWESTERN VENANGO COUNTIES...

At 648 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 8 miles southwest of
Franklin, moving east at 50 mph.

HAZARD...Tennis ball size hail and 60 mph wind gusts.

SOURCE...Radar indicated with a history of producing up to 2 inch
         diameter hail.

IMPACT...People and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect hail
         damage to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles. Expect wind
         damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

Locations impacted include...
  Franklin, Sugarcreek, Stoneboro, Seneca, Polk, Sandy Lake,
  Kennerdell, Jackson Center, Utica, New Lebanon, Cranberry Township
  and Maurice K Goddard State Park.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Anyone outdoors should move to shelter inside a well-built structure
and stay away from windows. This storm is capable of producing
dangerous hail and damaging winds.
