Precipitation will continue to overspread eastern Idaho today, initially falling as rain below 7,000 feet before a potent cold front moves through the region tonight and early Thursday morning. This frontal passage will cause snow levels to drop drastically to valley floors, bringing snowfall to all areas through Thursday evening. In addition to the precipitation, winds will increase today out of the southwest with gusts upwards of 20-25 mph possible. Expect 2-4 inches of snowfall accumulation between now and daybreak Friday. .TODAY... Sky/weather.........Mostly cloudy.
