.SYNOPSIS...Snow showers will continue at times through tonight
before precipitation tapers off on Thursday. Drier, colder
conditions both Thursday and Friday. Another system may bring
additional precipitation late in the weekend with warming
temperatures.

.IMPACTS...Stormy weather will create difficult mountaineering
conditions near the summit, with local blizzard-like conditions,
strong winds, and near zero visibility into Thursday. A high
level of skill and experience in alpine terrain, including use of
GPS, is recommended for navigation and camping in these
conditions.

...WINTER STORM WARNING IN EFFECT UNTIL 11 PM PDT THIS EVENING...

.WEDNESDAY NIGHT...A slight chance of thunderstorms in the
evening. Snow showers in the evening, then a slight chance of
snow showers after midnight. Snow may be heavy at times in the
evening. Snow accumulation near Paradise of 3 to 5 inches. Snow
level near 1500 feet.
.THURSDAY...Mostly sunny. A slight chance of showers in the
afternoon. Little or no snow accumulation near Paradise. Snow
level near 2500 feet in the afternoon. Freezing level near
2000 feet in the morning.
.THURSDAY NIGHT...Mostly cloudy with a chance of showers in the
evening, then partly cloudy after midnight. Snow level near
2500 feet. Freezing level near 3000 feet after midnight.
.FRIDAY...Mostly sunny. Freezing level near 2500 feet increasing
to 5000 feet in the afternoon.
