...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 6 PM HST THIS EVENING FOR THE
ISLAND OF OAHU IN HONOLULU COUNTY...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall.

* WHERE...The island of Oahu in Honolulu County.

* WHEN...Until 600 PM HST.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding on roads, poor drainage areas, and in
  streams.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 247 PM HST, radar indicated heavy rain over central Oahu
    and parts of windward Oahu. The heaviest rain was falling
    near Mililani and Punaluu. Rain was falling at a rate of up
    to 2 inches per hour. Additional heavy showers are expected
    through the afternoon.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Waipio, Wahiawa, Mililani, Wheeler Field, Schofield Barracks,
    Pearl City, Waikane, Waikele, Waiahole, Kunia, Punaluu,
    Waipahu, Aiea, Hauula, Kaaawa, Kahaluu, Halawa, Laie, Salt
    Lake and Waialua.


PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Stay away from streams, drainage ditches and low lying areas prone
to flooding.
