  Baraboo River Near Baraboo affecting Sauk and Columbia Counties.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

...FLOOD WARNING IN EFFECT FROM EARLY THIS MORNING TO EARLY SATURDAY
AFTERNOON...

* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring.

* WHERE...Baraboo River near Baraboo.

* WHEN...From early this morning to early Saturday afternoon.

* IMPACTS...At 16.0 feet, The effects of flooding at this level are
  confined mainly to agricultural land.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 4:00 AM CDT Thursday the stage was 16.1 feet.
  - Bankfull stage is 14.0 feet.
  - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
    ending at 4:00 AM CDT Thursday was 16.1 feet.
  - Forecast...The river will crest to at least near 17.0 feet
    through this afternoon. Coming forecasts will identify a more
    precise crest value.
  - Flood stage is 16.0 feet.
  - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of
    16.99 feet on April 12, 2013.
