...THUNDERSTORMS OVER THE WATERS...

The areas affected include...
Nearshore and open waters of Lake Michigan south of Sleeping Bear
Point...

At 915 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated strong thunderstorms, capable
of producing winds to around 30 knots. These thunderstorms were
located along a line extending from 10 nm southeast of Sturgeon Bay
Ship Canal Light to 12 nm northeast of Ludington Light, moving
northeast at 35 knots.

Locations impacted include...
Arcadia, Empire, Point Betsie, Pierport, Portage Lake, Williamsport,
Manistee, and Frankfort.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Mariners can expect gusty winds to around 30 knots, locally higher
waves, and lightning strikes. Boaters should seek safe harbor
immediately until these storms pass.

...A SPECIAL MARINE WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 915 PM CDT...

For the following areas...
Lake Michigan nearshore and open waters to mid lake from Sheboygan WI
to North Port Light WI...

At 818 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms capable of producing waterspouts
were located along a line extending from 16 nm southeast of Rawley
Point Light to 7 nm southeast of Sheboygan, moving northeast at 25
knots.

HAZARD...Waterspouts, wind gusts 34 knots or greater, and small
         hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Waterspouts can easily overturn boats and create locally
         hazardous seas. Small craft could be damaged in briefly
         higher winds and suddenly higher waves.

Locations impacted include...
Port Washington.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 900 PM CDT for east central
Wisconsin...and until 1000 PM CDT for southeastern Wisconsin.

Move to safe harbor until hazardous weather passes.
