.SYNOPSIS...Fresh to locally strong northwest winds will occur
near Cabo San Lucas through early Sat. Northwest swell will
briefly impact the waters west of Baja California Norte through
early Sat. Otherwise, rather quiet conditions will remain over
the Mexican offshores through the weekend. Looking ahead, high
pressure building over the Gulf of America is expected to induce
a strong to near gale Tehuantepec gap wind event beginning Sun
night into Tue. Otherwise, high pressure will dominate the
general weather pattern into the middle of next week.

.SYNOPSIS FOR CALIFORNIA WATERS...High pressure across the N and
central waters will gradually weaken to the W and NW of the area
through tonight and W and SW of area Sat. A weak coastal trough
will be along the California coast tonight into Sat. A cold
front will move over the N and central waters late Sat and Sat
night, then move over the central and S waters Sun into Mon
night. A low pressure system is expected to track S towards the N
waters later Sun night. The low pressure and associated cold
front will slowly drift S and SE Mon into Wed. Stronger high
pressure will build in across the N and central area Wed and Wed
night.
