* Until 400 PM CDT.

* At 305 PM CDT, strong thunderstorms were located along a line
  extending from 9 nm southwest of Barkers Island to 25 nm south of
  Superior Harbor, moving northeast at 50 knots.

  HAZARD...Wind gusts 34 knots or greater and small hail.

  SOURCE...Radar.

  IMPACT...Small craft could be damaged in briefly higher winds and
           suddenly higher waves.

* Strong thunderstorms will be near...
  Superior Harbor, Barkers Island, Duluth Harbor, and Superior Entry
  around 310 PM CDT.
  Duluth Lift Bridge Channel around 315 PM CDT.
  French River and McQuade Harbor around 325 PM CDT.
  Stoney Point, Knife River Marina, and Brule Point around 330 PM
  CDT.
  Two Harbors Protected Access Agate Bay and Larsmont around 335 PM
  CDT.
  Port Wing Harbor around 340 PM CDT.
  Herbster around 345 PM CDT.
  Castle Danger, Siskwit Bay, Bark Bay, and Bark Point around 350 PM
  CDT.

Other locations impacted by strong thunderstorms include Superior

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Move to safe harbor immediately as gusty winds and high waves are
expected.

Frequent lightning is occurring with these storms. If caught on the
open water stay below deck if possible, keep away from ungrounded
metal objects.
