This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for southwest Iowa, west central
Iowa, east central Nebraska, northeast Nebraska and southeast
Nebraska.

.DAY ONE...Tonight.

Very high fire danger is expected today, mainly west of line from
Onawa to Valley to western portions of Johnson and Pawnee counties.
Expect southwest winds gusting 20-30 mph and humidity dropping to
15 to 30 percent.

There is a 20% chance of thunderstorms near the Nebraska/South
Dakota/Iowa border late this afternoon and evening. If they develop,
a some could be strong to severe, with hail and strong winds.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday.

Shower and storm chances continue Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday.
Severe storms will be possible at times, especially across southeast
Nebraska and southwest Iowa late Tuesday afternoon into the
overnight and again Friday afternoon and evening.

Spotter activation may be needed at times this week, particularly
Tuesday and Friday.
