Generally a hundredth to locally 1.25 inches of rain fell with the highest amounts underneath stronger thunderstorms. Forecast precipitation for the next 48 hours... A similar pattern is expected to unfold over the next 48 hours with scattered showers and storms bringing locally enhanced rainfall totals. Highest amounts on Wednesday are likely north of Pittsburgh where training thunderstorms may accompany an east-west oriented boundary. Basin average rainfall is forecast to range from 0.10 to 1.50 inches with localized higher amounts. River trends... Area rivers are forecast to remain steady or exhibit rises of 1-2 feet, primarily in the Allegheny and Ohio Basins, through the end of the week.
