Sinlaku is moving northwest at 7 mph. It is expected maintain this general motion and speed through Wednesday. Tropical storm force winds will continue to spread and increase across across Guam, Rota, Tinian, and Saipan. Typhoon force winds are expected to start reaching Rota, Tinian, and Saipan this afternoon. Latest JTWC forecast track has shifted southward slightly but still maintains passage near or over Tinian and Saipan. Maximum sustained winds remain at 175 mph. Sinlaku is forecast to weaken through Wednesday. While Sinlaku is forecast to gradually weaken through the next several days, it is still expected to cross the Marianas near or over Tinian and Saipan as a Category 4 or Category 5 storm. Typhoon force winds extend outward from the center up to 80 miles. Tropical storm force winds extend outward from the center up to 290 miles to the east and up to 215 miles to the west.
