Sinlaku is moving northwest at 9 mph. It is expected to maintain this general course and speed through Wednesday. Tropical storm force winds will continue to spread and increase across across Guam, Rota, Tinian, and Saipan. Typhoon force winds are expected to start reaching Tinian, and Saipan this afternoon. Latest JTWC Latest forecast track still has passage near or over Tinian and Saipan. Maximum sustained winds remain at 175 mph. Sinlaku is forecast to weaken through tonight. Sinlaku is forecast to weaken through Wednesday. While Sinlaku is forecast to gradually weaken through the next several days, it is still expected to cross the Marianas near or over Tinian and Saipan as a Category 4 or Category 5 storm.
