DISCUSSION AND OUTLOOK

At 200 PM CHST...0400 UTC...the center of Super Typhoon Sinlaku
was located near Latitude 14.6 degrees North and Longitude
146.1 degrees East. Sinlaku is moving northwest at 9 mph. It is
expected to continue this motion through tonight then make a slight
turn toward the north-northwest Wednesday.

Maximum sustained winds have decreased to 155 mph. Sinlaku is
forecast to gradually weaken through Wednesday.

Typhoon force winds extend outward from the center up to
75 miles. Tropical storm force winds extend outward from the
center up to 265 miles.

Service at 500 PM ChST followed by the next scheduled advisory at
800 PM ChST.
