DISCUSSION AND OUTLOOK

At 1100 PM CHST...1300 UTC...the center of Super Typhoon Sinlaku
was located by PGUA radar near Latitude 15.0 degrees North and
Longitude 145.7 degrees East. Sinlaku is moving north-northwest at
5 mph. It is expected to maintain this general course and forward
speed through Wednesday. as it begins to pass through the northern
CNMI just west of the islands of Alamagan, Pagan, and Agrihan,
through the latter half of the week.


Maximum sustained winds remain at 150 mph. Sinlaku is forecast to
weaken through Wednesday.

The next scheduled advisory will be issued by the National
Weather Service at 200 AM ChST early Wednesday morning followed
by an intermediate advisory at 500 AM ChST Wednesday morning.
