Alamagan, Pagan, and Agrihan in the CNMI and the adjacent coastal
waters.

DISCUSSION AND OUTLOOK
----------------------
At 700 PM CHST...0900 UTC...the center of Typhoon Sinlaku was
located near Latitude 18.0 degrees North and Longitude
144.6 degrees East. Sinlaku is moving north-northeast at 7 mph.
It is expected to continue toward the north-northeast with little
change in forward speed through Friday. Typhoon Sinlaku continues
to move through the northern CNMI just west of Alamagan, Pagan,
and Agrihan, turning more to the northeast as it passes north of
Agrihan Friday afternoon.

Maximum sustained winds remain at 115 mph. Sinlaku is forecast to
continue weakening through Friday.

Typhoon force winds extend outward from the center up to
90 miles. Tropical storm force winds extend outward from the
center up to 290 miles to the northeast and up to 255 miles
elsewhere.

An intermediate advisory will be issued by the National Weather
Service at 1100 PM ChST tonight followed by the next scheduled
advisory at 200 AM ChST early Friday morning.
