A Marine Weather Statement has been issued for the following areas...

Central and Southern Bay of Green Bay...
Nearshore waters from Washington Island to Two Rivers...
Open waters of Lake Michigan from Rock Island Passage to Two
Rivers...

At 600 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated showers, capable of producing
winds to around 30 knots. These showers were located along a line
extending from 11 nm northwest of Long Tail Point Light to 6 nm
southeast of Bay Shore Park to 6 nm northeast of Rawley Point Light,
moving northeast at 40 knots.

Locations impacted include...
Sherwood Point Light, Sturgeon Bay Ship Canal Light, Jacksonport,
Peshtigo Reef Light, Whitefish Point, Kewaunee Pierhead Light,
Chambers Island, Detroit Island, Baileys Harbor, and Cana Island
Light.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Mariners can expect gusty winds to around 30 knots, locally higher
waves, and lightning strikes. Boaters should seek safe harbor
immediately until these storms pass.
