The National Weather Service in Detroit/Pontiac has issued a

* Special Marine Warning for...
  Michigan Waters of Lake Erie from Detroit River to North Cape MI...

* Until 315 AM EDT.

* At 154 AM EDT, severe thunderstorms capable of producing
  waterspouts were located along a line extending from 15 nm
  northwest of Wyandotte to 37 nm west of Luna Pier, moving southeast
  at 50 knots.

  HAZARD...Waterspouts, wind gusts to nearly 50 knots, and small
           hail.

  SOURCE...Radar.

  IMPACT...Waterspouts can easily overturn boats and create locally
           hazardous seas. Small craft could be damaged in briefly
           higher winds and suddenly higher waves.

* Severe thunderstorms will be near...
  Elizabeth Park Marina and Gibraltar around 210 AM EDT.
  Bolles Harbor Of Refuge, Monroe Harbor, Lake Erie Metropark
  Harbor, Detroit River Light, Luna Pier, Stony Point, Woodland
  Beach, Estral Beach, and Detroit Beach around 215 AM EDT.
  North Cape around 220 AM EDT.

Other locations impacted by severe thunderstorms include Woodland
Beach, Stony Point, Gibraltar, Estral Beach, and Detroit Beach.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 400 AM EDT for southeastern
Michigan...the adjacent waters of Lake Erie...and the adjacent waters
of Lake St. Clair.
