The National Weather Service in Milwaukee/Sullivan has issued a

* Special Marine Warning for...
  Lake Michigan nearshore and open waters to mid lake from North
  Point Light WI to Winthrop Harbor IL...

* Until 1045 PM CDT.

* At 807 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms capable of producing
  waterspouts were located along a line extending from 17 nm west of
  Milwaukee to 21 nm west of Oak Creek to 23 nm northwest of McHenry
  to 35 nm northwest of Elgin, moving east at 25 knots.

  HAZARD...Waterspouts, wind gusts to 40 knots, and small hail.

  SOURCE...Radar.

  IMPACT...Waterspouts can easily overturn boats and create locally
           hazardous seas. Small craft could be damaged in briefly
           higher winds and suddenly higher waves.

* Severe thunderstorms will remain over mainly open waters.
