...FLOOD ADVISORY NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL 10 AM PST THIS MORNING...

* WHAT...Residual flooding is expected to continue tonight.

* WHERE...A portion of southwest California, including the following
  county, Los Angeles.

* WHEN...Until 1000 AM PST.

* IMPACTS...Residual flooding will likely continue tonight.
  especially in low-lying areas. In addition, there will be an
  ongoing threat of rock slides and mud slides, especially in canyon
  roadways.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 545 AM PST, Doppler radar indicated rain coverage
    decreasing in coverage and intensity. However, residual
    flooding of low-lying areas is likely to continue through the
    night due to the earlier heavy rains. Heed any remaining road
    closures. In addition, there will likely be additional shower
    activity tonight which could prompt additional flooding
    concerns, as well as the threat of rock slides and mud
    slides.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Long Beach, Thousand Oaks, Malibu, Inglewood, Culver City,
    Downtown Los Angeles, Manhattan Beach, Torrance, Hermosa
    Beach, Hollywood, Beverly Hills, Venice, Redondo Beach, Santa
    Monica, Rancho Palos Verdes, Alhambra, Encino and Whittier.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.

Be aware of rock slides, mudslides, and possibly debris flows.
