...Early Start to Frost/Freeze Season Continues...

Due to warmer than average temperatures from March through early
April, the growing season is off to a fast start tracking ahead
of schedule. Therefore, the National Weather Service will initiate
frost/freeze watches, warnings, and advisories for the following
counties in central Pennsylvania:

Adams
Cumberland
Dauphin
Franklin
Lancaster
Lebanon
York

The normal date for the initiation of frost/freeze products in
these counties is April 11th.

Fulton
Huntingdon
Mifflin
Juniata
Perry
Union
Snyder
Northumberland
Montour

The normal date for the initiation of frost/freeze products in
these counties is April 21st.

Southern Centre
Blair
Bedford

Clearfield
Northern Centre
Cambria
Somerset

The normal dates for the initiation of frost/freeze products in
these counties are May 1st and May 11th.
