NZUS43 KFGF 151927 RRA WRKFWD .DISCUSSION... RH is currently in the 40s across central North Dakota with values will to fall to 35-40 percent for all areas expect far northwest Minnesota. Thursday will see gusty winds and a sharp temperature difference as a cold front drops southeast. Highs in the 30s and 40s in northeast North Dakota and 70s and low 80s perhaps from Valley City to Thief River Falls and east into the Red Lakes. In the warm sector RH values will drop to 25-30 percent but remain much higher in the colder airmass in the 40 to 60 range. Southerly winds of 20 mph gusting near 30 in the warm sector paired with these low RH have been enough to justify an SPS for near critical fire weather in much of northwest Minnesota. Light rain and snow will develop in eastern North Dakota and spread east Thursday evening into Friday.
