.DISCUSSION...
A low pressure system centered over southwest North Dakota will slide to
the east today, with winds eventually shifting to the northwest and
increasing behind a cold front. Before the winds turn northwest, winds
will be shifting as the low departs, starting out southerly, then shifting
towards the west and then northwest. Strongest winds of 16 to 22 mph with gusts
around 27 mph will be this afternoon. Cloud cover will be on the increase
with low rain chances after 3 pm. High temperatures climb into the mid 60s, with
minimum relative humidity values around 38 percent.  A little thunder with these
showers can not be ruled out. Rain becomes likely in the evening, with chances
for snow overnight.

Friday will be much colder with highs around 35 percent. It will also be
windy with northwest winds gusting to 35 mph.
