A cold front is expected to move in tonight bringing breezy winds with low relative humidity generally between 20 to 30 percent. Breezy winds and low relative humidity combined with dry fuels as determined by forestry partners, an elevated fire weather threat will be in place across the Midlands and CSRA Wednesday. Outdoor fires will have the potential to spread quickly, increasing the danger of wildfires. Avoid any activity that could spark a fire. In addition, the Forestry Commission has issued a red flag fire alert starting Wednesday morning. $$
