Much above normal temperatures are expected today along with good low level mixing is expected to lead to a very dry afternoon and breezy south winds with gusts of 20-25 mph. This will lead to near critical fire weather conditions. There is about a 30 percent chance of RH values lower than 25 percent this afternoon. Winds pick up into Friday and temperatures cool and moisture moving into the area will keep RH values above 50 percent. Showers and thunderstorms are expected Friday during the early afternoon hours.
