  North Skunk River near Sigourney affecting Keokuk County.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...English River at Kalona.

* WHEN...Until late tomorrow morning.

* IMPACTS...At 14.0 feet, Agricultural land along the river begins
  to flood.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 12:00 AM CDT Thursday the stage was 13.7 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage
    early this morning to a crest of 14.8 feet this afternoon. It
    will then fall below flood stage just after midnight tonight.
  - Flood stage is 14.0 feet.

* IMPACTS...At 18.0 feet, Water affects most agricultural land near
  Sigourney.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 12:30 AM CDT Thursday the stage was 13.5 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage
    this afternoon to a crest of 17.7 feet tomorrow morning. It
    will then fall below flood stage early Saturday morning.
  - Flood stage is 16.0 feet.
