Dry weather is forecast to prevail over central and southeast IL
through Wednesday. A cold front pushing southeast into IL late
Thursday, will likely bring a round of showers and thunderstorms
Thursday afternoon into Thursday night. North winds 8 to 15 mph and
gusts to 20-25 mph early this afternoon will turn northeast and
gradually diminish as the day wears on. Winds will turn south to
southeast on Tuesday and remain around 10 mph or less. Breezy south
to southwest winds will develop on Wednesday. Fair ventilation rates
are expected this afternoon, with poor vent rates Tuesday and fair
again on Wednesday.
