Warning for the following rivers in Mississippi...

  Big Black River At West affecting Attala and Holmes Counties.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

MORNING...

* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Big Black River at West.

* WHEN...From late tonight to early Sunday morning.

* IMPACTS...At 15.0 feet, lowlands and agricultural land near the
  river begin to flood.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 8:45 AM CDT Thursday the stage was 11.1 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage
    just after midnight tonight to a crest of 16.0 feet early
    tomorrow afternoon.
  - Flood stage is 15.0 feet.
