...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM APPROACHING THE WATERS...

The areas affected include...
  Puget Sound and Hood Canal...

At 241 PM PDT, Doppler radar indicated a strong thunderstorm just
west of Silverdale near Bainbridge Island, capable of producing
winds to around 30 knots and hail up to 0.5 inches. This
thunderstorm was located 12 nm southwest of Woodway, moving east at
10 knots.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Mariners can expect gusty winds to around 30 knots, locally higher
waves, and lightning strikes. Boaters should seek safe harbor
immediately until this storm passes.

Report severe weather to the Coast Guard or nearest law enforcement
agency. They will relay your report to the National Weather Service
forecast office.
