.SYNOPSIS...
Lingering snow showers across Mount Rainier National Park early
this morning will come to an end, with dry conditions for the next
several days. Temperatures remain cool through Friday, but a
return to near or slightly above normal conditions are expected this
weekend. The next disturbance may bring a return of some rain and
snow showers to the park by the end of the weekend through early
next week.

.IMPACTS...Strong winds near the summit Thursday night will make
it difficult to move safely and could produce local whiteout
conditions. A high level of skill and experience in alpine
terrain, including use of GPS, is recommended for navigation and
camping in these conditions.

.THURSDAY...Mostly sunny. A slight chance of snow in the morning.
Freezing level near 4000 feet in the afternoon.
.THURSDAY NIGHT...Partly cloudy. A slight chance of snow in the
evening. Little or no snow accumulation near Paradise. Freezing
level near 3000 feet after midnight.
.FRIDAY...Mostly sunny. Freezing level near 2500 feet increasing
to 5000 feet in the afternoon.
