...The National Weather Service in Shreveport has issued a Flood
Warning for the following rivers in Texas...

  Angelina River Near Angelina River at Hwy 59 near Lufkin affecting
  Nacogdoches and Angelina Counties.

For the Angelina River...including Angelina River near Alto, Angelina
River at Hwy 59 near Lufkin...Minor flooding is forecast.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Do not drive cars through flooded areas. Caution is urged when
walking near riverbanks. Turn around, don't drown when encountering
flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles.

Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive cars
through flooded areas.

...FLOOD WARNING IN EFFECT FROM TUESDAY AFTERNOON UNTIL FURTHER
NOTICE...

* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Angelina River near Angelina River at Hwy 59 near Lufkin.

* WHEN...From Tuesday afternoon until further notice.

* IMPACTS...At 161.0 feet, Expect minor flooding with the gravel
  parking lot flooded and water beginning to overflow the gravel road
  where it widens into the parking lot.  Also expect about a foot of
  overflow across the left bank of the Angelina River looking
  downstream.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 7:45 PM CDT Sunday the stage was 160.0 feet.
  - Forecast...The Angelina River north of Lufkin is expected to rise
    above the 161 foot flood stage early Tuesday afternoon and
    continue rising to 161.5 feet Friday evening. Additional rises
    are possible thereafter.
  - Flood stage is 161.0 feet.
  - Flood History...No available flood history.
