This product provides a graphical display of forecast rainfall totals associated with an Atlantic basin tropical cyclone or disturbance for a specified time period, based on forecaster discretion. The graphic allows for enhanced communication to external partners, media and the general public of the expected rainfall. The product is available on the NHC website at hurricanes.gov whenever an Atlantic basin tropical cyclone is forecast to bring rainfall to areas comprising the Caribbean Sea, Central America, and Mexico.
