.Synopsis for Marianas Waters...
Typhoon Sinlaku continues to move slowly north through the
northern CNMI. Due to the large wind field around the system,
life threatening marine conditions will persist through at least
Friday for Guam and Rota; and through at least Friday night for
Tinian and Saipan. In addition to winds, Sinlaku will produce
heavy showers and isolated thunderstorms through tonight,
especially for northern waters of Tinian and Saipan. Combined seas
are expected to be around 12 to 18 ft for Guam, 16 to 22 feet for
Rota, and 20 to 26 feet for Tinian and Saipan through tonight as
Sinlaku moves through the northern CNMI.
