...INVEST 90W NOW DESIGNATED AS TROPICAL DEPRESSION 04W...

Tropical Depression 04W formed north of Weno this morning. A Tropical
Storm Watch has been issued for Fananu and Ulul. A Tropical Storm
Watch means that tropical storm conditions, including damaging winds
of 39 to 73 mph, are possible within the next 48 hours. For those
elsewhere in Chuuk and Yap State, the forecast should be monitored
closely for changes in the path or strength of TD 04W. Many locations
will experience seas hazardous to small craft through the next several
days as swells emanate well away from TD 04W. This will be the last
SPS for this system.
